At Sea to Sky Sprinklers, we believe it is our responsibility to be environmentally economically conscious with water usage.

There are some water wise solutions we can help you implement to ensure minimal water wastage.

Are your plants new?

If your plants have recently been planted (i.e. in the last 15 months) the amount of water needed will be 50% more than established plants.

Therefore, for established plants, 50% less water will be needed than for new ones.

How do I irrigate a small area?

Smaller garden areas such as vegetable gardens or raised planted beds that are 6 ft. or less in depth can be irrigated with soaker hose drip line.

Drip line irrigations can reduce water by 300% as opposed to spray head irrigation.

How does a rain sensor work?

With a wireless rain sensor, the irrigation system will automatically shut off once the sensor recognizes a pre-determined amount of rain (mm).

The system will then turn back on by default once the moisture disappears.

Rain sensors can be installed into almost any existing irrigation system - making your water waste minimal and keeping your costs down.

Can I control the sprinklers wirelessly, though my phone, or PC?

Wi-fi and smart water solutions

Newer sprinkler controllers now come with wi-fi capability. Creating the ability to start, stop, and test your sprinklers from your smartphone or home computer.

With the smart weather option enabled, the system will determine your watering needs based on weather reports and current conditions.

Can I use my outdoor water tap for irrigation?

If you are working with a smaller area, it is possible to use your hose tap as a water source.

As most new homes have reduced water pressure for outdoor taps, we can utilize this for smaller irrigation/sprinkler purposes.
